Happy Easter! Where’s The Bunny?

Happy Easter 2019 everybody! Happy Passover! חַג כָּשֵׁר וְשָׂמֵחַ

Back when I was a little kid in Austria my parents used to hide nests full of eggs, chocolate bunnies and other sweets in our back garden. The night before was usually full of anticipation for us: How much chocolate would be in the nest? How many eggs, what other candy? It was sugar feast primarily for us kids and we loved it.

Later, when I was the parent in charge to hide the sweets, I spent days dyeing eggs (usually very successful) and choosing tooth fairy friendly candy (usually not successful at all).

This year, my elder son is too old to be interested in such old-fashioned traditions and my little daughter spends time with her grandparents far far away so I felt a little lost. I need to hide eggs! Nests! Treats!

As nobody in this house is interested in egg and bunny search quests I needed a substitute.

Let’s Find The Bunny!

Instead of hiding Easter eggs and chocolate I put up bunnies here on knitting.today. There are three little bunnies to be found all across the site. They are small but if you spot them you’ll find a secret knitting pattern hidden behind them.

If you happen to find one of these bunnies – click on them. Surprise! <3

The bunnies will disappear and hide in their secret nest by Wednesday evening again to spend their time until next year, so better look and find them straight away!

Thank You, and Happy Holidays

I’m very grateful to have you as a reader here on knitting.today and hope you’ll enjoy spending time here in the future as well.

Thank you and have very nice, peaceful and joyful holidays – no matter which religion (or none at all) you feel home in.

PS: If you found one, let us know by leaving a comment – but psssht, don’t tell where! <3

PPS: I’ll share screenshots of the three hidden bunnies on Thursday morning to let you all know where they were hiding, and how many people were successful in finding them. There’s three bunnies but all lead to the same knitting pattern so if you found one, congratulations and no need to look further! Happy Easter!

Thank you, Julia, for your 2019 bunny hunt and your lovely shawl pattern. I found all 3 bunnies.
(If it helps clarify the bunny hunt for other followers, when you click on a bunny, nothing may appear to happen, BUT LOOK IN THE SPOT WHERE YOUR COMPUTER DOWNLOADS PDF FILES; Julia has gifted you the PDF file for one of her lovely shawls; EACH (or ANY) of the 3 bunnies will allow you to download the PDF for the ONE particular shawl pattern which she is gifting this year.)
