Do you love crescent shawls but don’t like short rows? The Phoebe shawl knitting pattern is the solution for your dilemma!
Phoebe is a so-called winged crescent shawl, worked top down without using short rows – shaped by increases only!
This crescent shawl pattern features two color Vikkel braids, creating lines of horizontally aligned knit stitches dividing the different color sections. Detailed instructions on how to work a Vikkel braid are included in the pattern.
Three colorways of Malabrigo Yarn Arroyo have been used to knit the samples: Purpuras, Natural and Sand Banks, about 0.5 skeins per color.
