Welcome Little Baby Boy!
It’s been a little quiet here on knitting.today during the last few weeks and I’m very happy to announce why. We say welcome to a little baby boy who decided to arrive in this world six weeks early. We are well, and he finally got home last week after having to spend some time in the neonatal care unit due to difficulties adapting to the world outside.
We named him Otto and are very proud and happy parents! He’s the cutest thing on earth of course and nothing else really matters at the moment.
I’ll be back next week with a Friday Freebie!
Until then, feel free to use the coupon code “hellobaby” (without the quotes) to get 40% off all my patterns and books in the shop and on Ravelry until May the 1st.
Thanks for your support!

What a beautiful baby! Congratulations
Congratulations! A welcome to beautiful baby Otto. There is nothing like the miracle of new life.
My first grandnieces, twins, were primies and spent like 6 to 8 weeks in the neonatal unit and today they are 20 YO studying in college… and are very tall and beautiful and healthy.
Oh, Julia, what a beautiful child! I hope all is well with you and your family at this time. Somehow I got disconnected with you and Knitting Today. It was one of my great pleasures when I received your weekly updates. I’m a retired choral music teacher and now living in Mexico. Sending you virtual hugs from a great distance. I hope the recent horrifying flooding hasn’t affected you and yours.
Oh wie wundervoll! Was für ein bezaubernder Schatz! Alles alles Gute euch!
