New Pattern: Pegantha Parthenon

I’m very happy to announce the release of the Pegantha Parthenon shawl knitting pattern, the next shawl from the Knitting Art Forms of Nature project.

Pegantha Parthenon is a triangle shawl worked sideways featuring lace and stockinette stitch.

This pattern has been inspired by the illustration of the species Pegantha parthenon (Slide #16: Pegantha, No. 1) in Ernst Haeckel’s book Kunstformen der Natur.
