Introducing WIP Wednesday: What’s On Your Needles?
Today I’m officially starting up the WIP Wednesday series here on Knitting Today: each Wednesday I’ll present you with my current projects, ideas and lots of knitting inspiration pictures. (In case you wonder what the heck a WIP might be: it’s a common abbreviation for Work In Progress.)
At the moment I’m finishing the patterns for my book on adjustable knitted shawls. One of these patterns is a stole made using ITO Tetsu (a 2 ply Lace weight yarn with a fiber content of 61% Silk and 39% Metallic).
The skein has been purchased last year in spring already, at the Wollhaven yarn store in Bremerhaven (if you ever get there, drop in – a lovely store with friendly service and a really nice owner).
It’s only 246 meters / 15 grams but so very thin it’s going to be a lovely little shawl for sure!
What’s on your needles right now?
