New Pattern: Ostracion Turritis
I’m very happy to announce the release of the Ostracion Turritis shawl knitting pattern shawl knitting pattern, the fourth shawl from the Knitting Art Forms of Nature project.
Ostracion Turritis is a triangle shawl with center panel featuring lace, stockinette stitch and horseshoes.
This pattern has been inspired by the illustration of the species Ostracion Turritis (Slide #42: Ostraciontes, No. 10) in Ernst Haeckel’s book Kunstformen der Natur.
The yarn used can be easily substituted with any DK or heavy fingering weight yarn.
